Study on low temperature sintering behavior and dielectric properties of BaTi<sub>4</sub>O<sub>9</sub>/La<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-CaO microwave dielectric ceramic

In this paper, La2O3-B2O3-CaO (LBC) glass ceramics were sintered at low temperature to density BaTi4O9 (BT4) microwave dielectric ceramics. The effects of composition ratio and sintering on the micromorphology, phase properties LBC/BT4 multiphase investigated. Experimental results showed that LBC microcrystalline BT4 happened between ceramic interface reaction obviously, with increase content increases, density, constant epsilon εr value quality factor Qf increased after first decrease. And resonant frequency coefficient τf decreases, temperature, it goes up then down. When is 50 wt%, 875 °C for 2 h have good = 26, 8000 GHz, τf; +150 ppm/°C.
